Leo Meurrens designed a cover for Frans Olbrecht's book, "Het roode land der zwarte Kariatieden". Olbrechts loaned this figure to the Royal Museum for Central Africa-Tervuren (inv. nr. 59.38.43), which was retrieved after his death by his widow.
